Aristocracy Wetting Agent

Aristocracy Wetting Agent, manufactured by Helena Chemicals, is a unique nonionic surfactant and soil conditioner specially designed to prevent and treat localized dry spots (LDS) and other moisture-related turf issues.

This product goes beyond wetting. Over time, it helps condition the soil structure, improving pore space and reducing compaction. That means better oxygen exchange, stronger root systems, and increased microbial activity all signs of healthy turf. Got water pooling in one area and bone-dry patches in another? Aristocracy levels the playing field. It pulls water into hydrophobic areas and distributes moisture more uniformly, leading to consistent green-up and healthier root zones.

Aristocracy Wetting Agent is a high-performance nonionic surfactant and soil conditioner formulation that promotes healthy greens, tees, fairways, lawns, and sports turf, with lasting effectiveness for up to 40 days across turf types like Bentgrass, Bermuda, Poa annua, and Paspalum. By firmly anchoring to the soil, it enhances water-holding capacity to keep turf hydrated without oversaturation, ensuring firm playing surfaces.

Tools Needed

You will need a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or hose-end sprayer.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Aristocracy Wetting Agent to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Depending on how often you want to reapply will determine the rate to use. For reapplication intervals of 30 days, apply 4 to 8 oz. of Aristocracy Wetting Agent per 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For reapplication intervals of 90 days, use 6 to 8 oz. of product per 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. 
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is well-mixed.
• Step 3: Apply evenly across the turf surface until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Water-in immediately for best performance. Repeat this application 7 to 10 days later. Reapply at 90 days as needed.

Special Considerations

Do not tank mix with pesticides, fertilizers, plant growth regulators or other chemicals unless you know that the tank mixture is physically compatible, will not harm your turf and will not change the intended effectiveness of the spray solution.
