Aquathol Super K Granular Aquatic Herbicide, manufactured by United Phosphorus, is a specially formulated aquatic herbicide that provides season-long weed control in water with minimum water restrictions. 

This contact herbicide manages a broad-spectrum of aquatic weeds like hydrilla, pondweed, and curlyleaf within 24 hours, but may take up to 3-4 weeks for full control. Begins working on contact with dipotassium salt of endothall 63.0% to kill aquatic weeds by breaking down their cell structure and inhibit protein synthesis leading to complete weed death. 

Aquathol Super K Granular Aquatic Herbicide greatly reduces unwanted aquatic plant life for a clearer water body while also being safe for fish and other aquatic organisms. Known to be more effective than liquid Aquathol in still or slow moving water bodies.

To apply Aquathol Super K Granular Aquatic Herbicide, you will simply need to apply the product directly from the container. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Measure the size and depth of body of water to determine how much Aquathol K Aquatic Herbicide you will need. To determine acre-feet volume, measure the length, width, and depth of the waterbody, and then divide by 43,560 (length x width x depth / 43,560 = acre-feet). To treat entire ponds/lakes or large water bodies with quiescent, slow moving, or flowing water, use 4.4 to 22.0 lbs. of Aquathol Super K Granular Aquatic Herbicide per acre ft. For spot or lake margin treatments with quiescent, slow moving, or flowing waters, apply 13.2 to 22.0 lbs. of product per acre ft. For ponds and small lakes with little to no outflow, use 7.5 lbs. of product acre ft. Refer to the label for specific application and restrictions. 
• Step 2: While wearing gloves, pour the proper amount of Aquathol Super K Granular Aquatic Herbicide as evenly as possible over areas to be treated. To do this, apply the product directly to the perimeter or in multiple locations around the perimeter of the water body. 

Where to Use

Aquathol Super K Granular Aquatic Herbicide can be used in quiescent, slow moving, and flowing water aquatic sites like ponds and lakes. 

Do not use this product in brackish or saltwater. 

When to Use

Use Aquathol Super K Granular Aquatic Herbicide in the early spring when weeds are actively growing and present with a minimum of 24 hours contact time. 

Safety Information 

Aquathol Super K Granular Aquatic Herbicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

There is no Pre-harvest Interval (PHI) for crops irrigated with treated water.
