Aqua-King Plus Adjuvant, manufactured by Heritage PPG, is a convenient all-in-one spreader-activator with buffering agent that improves aquatic herbicide applications by enhancing coverage, spreading, and absorption.
This multi-functional spray adjuvant is formulated with a unique blend of nonionic surfactants for better spreading and wetting, and water-conditioning agents to neutralize hard water ions. It’s a versatile adjuvant, designed to increase the effectiveness of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and foliar nutrients, especially in conditions where water quality might otherwise hinder performance.
Aqua-King Plus Adjuvant formulation ensures that it won’t interfere with herbicide chemistry, and its low-foam properties make it ideal for high-speed mixing and modern sprayer technology. It simplifies your tank mix, reduces chemical clutter, and improves performance all with one product.
Tools Needed
It can be used with any type of spraying equipment, but you will need to also pair this product with an aquatic herbicide.
How to Use
- Step 1: Read the product label instructions to be sure this product can be used. Apply 1 to 4 pints of Aqua-King Plus Adjuvant per 100 gallons of spray solution.
- Step 2: Fill the tank with half the amount of water. Add Aqua-King Plus Adjuvant before or after adding other tank mix partners, depending on your product’s label. Add herbicides per label directions. Continue filling the tank with water while maintaining agitation.
- Step 3: Spray according to your tank mix partner's instructions.
Where to Use
Aqua-King Plus Adjuvant can be used for aquatic vegetative applications, but may also be used with herbicides that are registered for aquatic, wetland vegetation management, right-of-ways, ditch banks, shorelines, and other non-crop areas.
When to Use
Apply when you need to increase weed control or you are worried that hard water will limit your product's performance.
