Aprehend Biopesticide

Aprehend Biopesticide, manufactured by ConidioTec, is an effective non-repellent bio-pesticide that kills and controls bed bugs for up to 3 months indoors.

When applied, the product will dry clear and leave behind little odors. When bed bugs cross these undetectable areas, the fungal spores will germinate and stick to the pest allowing it to spread to other bed bugs that may have not left their hiding place. Within 24 hours the spores germinate and penetrate directly into the bed bugs where it will grow in its blood system leading to its death between 4-10 days.

Aprehend Biopesticide is a ready to use oil biological mycoinsecticide, that requires no pre-mixing and can easily be treated around furniture and other areas where bed bugs travel like the side of a box-spring creating a long-lasting barrier.

Tools Needed

To apply Aprehend Biopesticide, you will need to use a low volume low pressure spray applicator.

Do not mix this product with water or other products.

Do not use this product with standard (high volume) spray application equipment.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Aprehend Biopesticide to use by measuring the linear feet of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length, width, and height of the treatment area in inches then add them together. Divide the total by the number of sides that object or area had (a room has 4 walls so you would divide the total by 4). Remove all bedding including sheets, pillows, blankets, comforters and other linen. These items should be removed from the area and replaced after treatment with Aprehend Biopesticide. Ensure all furniture is moved away from the walls to permit treatment of all areas. However, do not move furniture to other parts of the building or room otherwise you risk the spread of bed bugs to uninfested areas. Apply 0.5 fl. oz. of Aprehend Biopesticide per 50 linear feet of surface. For perimeter treatments, spray enough product to create a 2" band.
• Step 2: Before pour into your selected spray application equipment shake the Aprehend Biopesticide container well to activate the fungal spores. Fill the proper amount of Aprehend Biopesticide as stated in your selected spray application equipment.
• Step 3: Hold the applicator close to the surface to be treated and apply at a speed of approximately 1 foot per second making a continuous 2” wide swath (barrier) of Aprehend Biopesticide. Do not allow excessive dripping or run-off to occur on surfaces.

Where to Use

Aprehend Biopesticide is for indoor use only in buildings and structures including houses, apartments, hotel and motel rooms, offices, and seating areas in theatres and modes of transport.

Do not treat mattresses, sheets, pillows, blankets, comforters and other linen directly with this product.

When to Use

Use Aprehend Biopesticide when bed bugs are first noticed indoors such as blood smears, droppings, eggs, shed skin, or when the pest itself is first witnessed. It may also be used before bed bugs are found.

Safety Information

Aprehend Biopesticide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying this product.

Do not apply to flat surfaces where prolonged human contact will occur

Keep people and pets out of treated areas while treating and after treating for 4 hours.

Special Considerations

Before application of Aprehend Biopesticide to fabrics, always spray a small inconspicuous area to check for staining.
