This water-dispersable granule is formulated with prohexadione calcium, which inhibits the last stages of gibberellic acid production, which is what triggers vertical shoot growth in turfgrass. By suppressing that, Anuew Plant Growth Regulator reduces top growth, encourages denser turf, improves rooting, and enhances color. It is especially beneficial on cool-season turf, where it provides more active and longer-lasting regulation compared to traditional PGRs. How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Anuew Plant Growth Regulator to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For warm-seasoned turf, apply 0.28 to 0.55 oz. of Anuew Plant Growth Regulator per 0.5 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Depending on your cool-seasoned turf, use 0.09 to 0.37 oz. of product per 0.5 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake the solution until mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of the leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Do not irrigate the treated area for 4 hours after application. Reapply when 2 to 4 weeks have passed after application.
