De-Foamer Spray Adjuvant
De-Foamer Spray Adjuvant
De-Foamer Spray Adjuvant, manufactured by Alligare, is a highly concentrated, low-foam, non-ionic spreader activator and defoaming agent.
When mixed into a solution, the De-Foamer increases the activity and effectiveness of agricultural insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides by breaking down the waxy cuticle on the leaf surface, and improving adhesion between the pesticide and the plant surface.
Tools Needed
To use De-Foamer Spray Adjuvant you will need a hand-pump sprayer and a pesticide to mix the product into.
How to Use
- Step 1: In a hand-pump sprayer, add De-Foamer Spray Adjuvant to an existing diluted pesticide mixture at a rate of 1–10 ounces per 100 gallons of spray solution.
- Step 2: Agitate the sprayer until the product is fully dissolved into the pesticide mixture.
- Step 3: Apply the mixture to the target area.
Where to Use
De-Foamer Spray Adjuvant can be used indoors or outdoors in any situation where you have a pesticide that foams up too much when applied.
When to Use
Use De-Foamer Spray Adjuvant when you have a pesticide that is overly foamy during application and you would like to reduce the foaming properties and improve the effectiveness of the pesticide.
Safety Information
De-Foamer Spray Adjuvant is safe to use when applied according to label directions. Make sure to have on the necessary PPE when mixing and applying the product.
Special Considerations
Effectiveness will depend upon composition of the spray mixture, temperature, and agitation. Adjust the use rate of Alligare De-Foamer as necessary to achieve desired level of foam control.
