Alligare IMOX Herbicide
Alligare IMOX Herbicide
Alligare IMOX Herbicide is an outstanding systemic herbicide that will kill both the pre and post-emergent stages of problematic weeds in aquatic and terrestrial non-crop areas.
Alligare IMOX Herbicide, manufactured by Alligare, is a exceptional systemic herbicide that provides complete control over several aquatic and grassy weeds while allowing desired plants to grow without harm.
This selective herbicide controls submersed, emergent and floating vegetation and grassy weeds such as cocklebur, cattail, and coontail within 14 days of application.
Alligare IMOX Herbicide offers selective yet total control on challenging aquatic and dry land sites at minimum application rates resulting in cost-effective weed control.
Tools Needed
To apply Alligare IMOX Herbicide, you will need to use a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, helicopter, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Alligare IMOX Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the terrestial weed, use 64-128 fl. oz. of Alligare IMOX Herbicide in 10 or more gallons of water per acre. To treat the surface of aquatic sites, use 17 fl. oz. of product in 10 gallons of water per surface acre with a depth of 1 feet. Do not exceed 2 applications of this product per year. Refer to the label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Alligare IMOX Herbicide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Shake until solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray Alligare IMOX Herbicide mixture to the top layer of water where weeds are present.
Where to Use
Use Alligare IMOX Herbicide in aquatic sites: arroyos, bayous, canals and irrigation canals, creeks, ditches, estuarine sites, marine sites, lakes, marshes, ponds, reservoirs, rivers, slow-moving or quiescent bodies of water, streams, swamps and wetlands.
This product may also be applied for terrestrial and riparian vegetation control in industrial noncropland sites, and railroad, utility, and highway rights-of-way. Industrial noncropland sites include utility plant sites, tank farms, pumping installations, storage areas, fence rows and ditch banks. It may also be used for the establishment and maintenance of wildlife openings.
The sites listed above and treated with this product may be grazed or cut for hay.
When to Use
Use Alligare IMOX Herbicide when weeds are present or before they occur.
