Alligare Drift Control Adjuvant
Alligare Drift Control Adjuvant
Alligare Drift Control Adjuvant is developed by Alligare LLC and is a helpful additive to mix with a pesticide application. Alligare Drift Control lessens the chances of drift and boosts pesticide performance by binding small spray particles together into larger droplets which are more capable of hitting their intended target. Alligare Drift Control is convenient and easy to use and makes the spray application safer and reduces risk.
Tools Needed
To use Alligare Drift Control all you need is a herbicide of your choice to mix into a sprayer tank of your choice.
How to Use
- Step 1: In a spraying container, mix your selected herbicide with water according to label directions.
- Step 2: Add Alligare Drift Control to the mixture at a rate of 1-4 oz per 100 gal of water. Start with low dosage rates and increase as needed. If you notice a thickened or "stringy" solution, this indicates that too much Alligare Drift Control has been used.
- Step 3: Apply the mixture to the target area.
Where to Use
Alligare Drift Control Adjuvant is designed for general use in standard ground and aerial applications outdoors.
When to Use
Use Alligare drift control when you need to spray applications around sensitive areas where the possibility of the product drifting should be avoided.
Safety Information
The product is safe to use when applied according to label directions. Please wear the necessary PPE (gloves, glasses, mask) when mixing and spraying any chemicals.
Special Considerations
Before using Alligare Drift Control, the applicator or crops advisor must have experience with the pesticide combination, including Alligare Drift Control, or must have conducted a phytotoxicity test.

Keith's Pro Tips | "The addition of adjuvants to some pesticides and/or fertilizers and their tank mixes may cause phytotoxicity to the foliage and/or fruit of desirable crops. Be sure to check the label of the pesticide you are using before mixing the drift control agent to it." |
Product Drawbacks | The addition of adjuvants to some pesticides and/or fertilizers and their tank mixes may cause phytotoxicity to the foliage and/or fruit of desirable crops. |

Application Rate | Alligare Drift Control is very concentrated and performs effectively at ultra-low use rates even as low as 1-4 oz per 100 gal of water. Start with low dosage rates and increase as needed. Dosages may be adjusted to compensate for environmental conditions or mechanical factors. Lower dosages may be used when spraying under calm winds, slow application speeds, low pressures, and lower boom heights with nozzles closer to the target. The greater the shear on the spray boom nozzle head, the greater the spray droplet fragmentation, which produces fines (mists) that may drift to non-target areas or evaporate. Please read mixing steps and dosage chart on product label. |

Q:How long can this be left in a pre-mix? Or should this be added just before spraying?8/2/23A:Alligare Drift Control Adjuvant can left in the pre-mix formulation, but as with most mixed product material we recommend using it after application or within 24 hours of mixing. Best used before spraying.
