Alligare Basal Oil with Dye, manufactured by Alligare, is a highly emulsified low viscosity non-aromatic/non-carcinogenic diluent with select surface-active compounds and coupling agents that improves Alligare Triclopyr 4 EC and Alligare Rotary 2 SL applications. 

This refined basal oil aids in basal-bark and cut-surface brush control applications by showing where applications are made with its included dye and better pentration in tough wood surfaces. 

Alligare Basal Oil with Dye is an excellent pre-mixed dye and diluent combination for better results on removing unwanted woody plants with certain Alligare products. 

Tools Needed 

Alligare Basal Oil comes ready to use, but you will need to purchase Alligare Triclopyr 4 EC or Alligare Rotary 2 SL separately. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Mix the Alligare Triclopyr 4 EC or Alligare Rotary 2 SL according to its label.
• Step 2: After these products are finished mixing, add 1:4 (20%) or 1:3(25%) of Alligare Basal Oil with Dye. 

Where to Use

Use Alligare Basal Oil with Dye only with Alligare Triclopyr 4 EC or Alligare Rotary 2 SL. 

When to Use

Use Alligare Basal Oil with Dye when you wish to increase basal-bark and cut-surface brush control applications when using Alligare Triclopyr 4 EC or Alligare Rotary 2 SL.
