Applying Rotary 2L

Tools Needed

To use Rotary 2 SL, you will need either a backpack sprayer, pump sprayer or power sprayer depending on the area workload.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Fill the sprayer of your choice halfway with water then add the required amount of herbicide to the tank. The typical application rate is 0.6-6.5 ounces per gallon of water.
  • Step 2: Replace the cap and agitate by shaking the sprayer. Add the remaining water required and surfactant if needed, then repeat agitation until herbicide solution is thoroughly mixed.
  • Step 3: Spray the target weed, making sure to get even coverage and not overlap spray bands to ensure grass health. If using Rotary for pre-emergent control, broadcast over the area you suspect will have unwanted vegetation growing before it has emerged.
  • Step 4: Monitor the area and reapply as needed.

Where to Use

Rotary 2 SL Herbicide is for use in forestry sites that may contain surface water caused by forestry activities like drainage diteches, marshes, swamps and bogs and low lying areas. It can also be used on pasture grass and rangelands. Check the label for the full list.

When to Use

Use Rotary 2 SL when you have noticed undesirable vegetation growing in the area or if you are aware of annual or perennial weeds which grow on a forestry site and want to prevent their growth for the current season.

Potent & Highly Adaptable
This is a great herbicide I tank mix at 1.5% with Triclopyr 3 at 3-5% in water for highly specific foliar spot spraying as well as @ 3-5% with Triclopyr 4 @ 5%+ in oil for basal bark / stem band treatment. Invasives control & habitat restoration. The lower % Imazapyr doesn't readily spread, persist, or injure non target native sedge / grass. At much higher percentages it's a good residual bare ground herbicide well tolerated by conifers. Only con is that this EC formula is not labeled for aquatic use in the most sensitive wetland sites
