Agrisel Carbait 5
Agrisel Carbait 5 is a highly effective broad-spectrum granular insecticide that controls armyworms, grasshoppers, and other turf pests in commercial turf, ornamentals, and vegetables.
04/21/26
Agrisel Carbait 5, manufactured by Agrisel, is a professional-grade granular insecticide that provides superior broad-spectrum control against turf pests in commercial turf, ornamentals, and vegetables within a couple of days.
This fully EPA-labeled, granular insecticide contains 5% Carbaryl, a broad-spectrum active ingredient that targets a wide range of turf and garden insects like mole crickets, cutworms, sowbugs, and more. These tiny, attractant-coated particles lure insects to feed on the granule, ensuring maximum ingestion and fast control. The granular bait formulation makes it easier for users to target pests where they live and feed right at ground level.
Agrisel Carbait 5 is an effective contact insecticide that doesn't just sit on the soil surface, but works to lure and draw pests, simplifying pest management plans. Each bag covers up to 2 acres, thanks to its low use rate. That means more control with less product, reducing costs without sacrificing performance.
Tools Needed
This product may only be applied with a commercial ground spreader.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Agrisel Carbait 5 to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For turf and ornamentals, apply 0.75 to 0.9 pounds of Agrisel Carbait 5 per 1,000 sq. ft. To treat larger turf areas, use 32 to 40 pounds of product per acre. For vegetables and other crops, use 0.45 to 0.9 pounds of product per 1,000 sq. ft. If you need to treat larger vegetable and crop sites, apply 20 to 40 pounds of product per acre. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Calibrate the spreader to the proper setting then load the correct amount of granules.
- Step 3: Ensure even application over your turf. For ornamentals and crops, spread the granules uniformly on the soil around the plants. When applied to residential lawns, this product must be watered in immediately after application. Do not retreat for 7 days after application.
Where to Use
