Advion Ant Gel Stations

Advion Ant Gel Stations, manufactured by Syngenta, is an effective pre-filled ant bait delivery system that lures and eliminates all members of the ant colony, including the queen without creating a mess like other gel baits.

This self-contained ant bait contains the active ingredient indoxacarb 0.05%, which disrupts the ant's nervous system after ingestion. Indoxacarb is unique in its ability to convert to a more potent compound within the ant’s body, ensuring rapid and thorough elimination.

Advion Ant Gel Stations is a versatile ready-to-use ant bait station that targets all major ant species both indoors and outdoors. Due to the discreet design, these compact, sealed stations can be placed unobtrusively in kitchens, along baseboards, under appliances, and in other high-traffic areas without drawing attention. Not to mention these self-contained bait stations also ensure the bait stays moist and attractive to ants.

How to Use

• Step 1: Locate areas where ants are active, such as trails, entry points, and nesting sites. Place 3-8 Advion Ant Gel Stations in an average-sized room (10’ by 10’). When ant activity is low, fewer stations can be used (1-4 stations per room). When ant activity is high, or the room size is bigger, more stations should be used.
• Step 2: To use the stations, remove the bait station from the packaging then cut or snap off the tab at the end of the bait station. Activate the bait station by squeezing the gel compartment so the gel inside is moved into the central compartment of the station.
• Step 3: Place the bait station near ant trails or other areas where ant activity has been observed. When placed outdoors, ensure bait stations are placed in areas that are not exposed to direct rainfall. For outdoor placements, set the bait station adjacent to the home or structure near ant activity or anywhere ants may gain access to the home or structure such as around doors and windows, utility penetrations, and other areas where ants are likely to enter. Inspect Advion Ant Gel Station placements periodically and replace them with new stations as needed.

Where to Use

Advion Ant Gel Stations can be used indoors and outdoors of residential, institutional, commercial, and industrial areas. 

Do not place Advion Ant Gel Station near or on surfaces where the temperature exceeds 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit because this could cause the bait to liquefy and lose effectiveness. Examples include, but are not limited to, parts of stoves, ovens, grills, fume hoods, saunas, heat lamps, coffee urns, steam tables, toasters, fryers, dishwashers, and hot water pipes.

When to Use

Apply these bait stations when you first notice ant activity or in the middle of an infestation. 

Avoid outdoor applications when rainfall is expected within the next 24 hours of treatment.

Safety Information 

Advion Ant Gel Stations are safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product. 

Do not place bait stations in areas that are easily accessible to children, pets, and zoo animals.

Special Considerations

Do not spray other insecticides over the top of the station as this may cause the bait inside to become unattractive.
