Tools Needed

To use Adorn Fungicide you will need either a hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, irrigation system, or handheld pump sprayer. To cover acres of treatment area, a spray rig may be needed.

How to Use

• Step1: Determine how much Adorn Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To find this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). You will use this to figure out how much product you need to apply. Depending on the disease you are treating, Adorn Fungicide should be mixed at a rate between .01 and .04 ounces of product per 1 gallon of water, or 1-4 ounces of product per 100 gallons of water.
• Step 2: Fill your sprayer with half the required amount of water, then measure the correct amount of Adorn Fungicide you will need. Add Adorn Fungicide in, and agitate the mixture until the product is fully dispersed, then add the remaining amount of water. Close and shake once more to ensure an even distribution of product. Once the solution is fully mixed, you can add additional products like marking dyes or surfactants.
• Step 3: Apply the Adorn Fungicide solution to the target areas as a fan-spray setting to ensure the foliage is evenly coated. To treat for soil-borne diseases, you may water in the product after application. Reapplication may be required to control severe cases of disease development and should be done 14 to 28 days after initial treatment. Do not apply more than two applications of Adorn Fungicide per cropping cycle.

Where to Use

Adorn Fungicide may be used on container, bench, or bed grown ornamentals in greenhouses, lathhouses, shadehouses or outdoor nurseries, on conifers including Christmas trees and on ornamentals grown in outdoor landscapes.

When to Use

Adorn Fungicide prevents water mold, root rot, stem rot, crown rot and damping off caused by oomycete diseases in ornamental plants and should be used before disease development. Use the higher rate when treating plants with a high potential for disease development. If necessary, reapply after 14 to 28 days.

Adorn Fungicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Do not allow people or pets into treatment areas until the product has dried completely.

Special Considerations

Adorn Fungicide is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water, drains, or gutters are present.
