Actisol Fluid Cap O-Ring
Actisol Fluid Cap O-Ring
The Actisol Fluid Cap O-Ring is manufactured by Actisol and is a replacement fluid cap for the Actisol new style wand assembly of the Actisol Portable Aerosol System. The O-Ring is meant to be used to hold the stainless steel fluid cap securely on the wand assembly so that it doesn't leak. When conducting routine maintenance or to repair a leaking wand, this O-Ring is important to replace alongside the Fluid Cap.
Tools Needed
To use the Actisol Fluid Cap O-Ring, you will need the Actisol Compact Portable Aerosol Unit and the Actisol Fluid Cap.
How To Use
- Step 1: Disconnect the coil hose of the Actisol Aerosol Sprayer Unit from the sprayer wand.
- Step 2: Remove the old Fluid Cap O-Ring from the wand by loosening the O-ring with a wrench.
- Step 3: Replace with the new fluid cap O-ring and tighten.
- Step 4: Resassemble the wand to the Actisol unit and then test to ensure there are no leaks.
Where To Use
The Actisol Fluid Cap O-Ring is designed to hold the Actisol Fluid Cap in place to keep fluid from leaking from the Actisol Aerosol Sprayer Unit wand during application. The Fluid Cap is fitted after the Crack and Crevice Tip of the wand.
When To Use
Replace the Fluid Cap O-Ring when your wand is leaking fluid during application or the Fluid Cap is loose and not tightly secure.
Safety Information
The Actisol Fluid Cap O-Ring is easy to install when done so according to manual directions. Please make installations when the unit is powered off.
Special Considerations
When replacing the O-Ring for the Fluid Cap, you may also need a replacement Fluid Cap, which is sold seperately.
