Excellent flexibility to cover various pests at different points in the season with its long residual activity and ability to target both foliar and systemic active insects.

Tools Needed

To use Acelepryn Insecticide, you will need either a handheld pump sprayer, boom sprayer, spray rig, or ground application equipment like a backpack sprayer.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Acelepryn Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acerage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For foliar applications to commercial ornamental plant nurseries, greenhouses, and sod farms, apply 2 to 16 fl. oz. of Acelepryn Insecticide per 100 gallons of water. For soil applications for white grubs in ornamental plant nurseries, greenhouses, and sod farms, use 0.18 to 0.37 fl. oz. of product in 1 to 2 pints of water per 1,000 sq. ft. of soil surface. For broadcast applications on golf course, lawns, and recreational turf areas, use 0.05 to 0.46 fl. oz. of product in 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. depending on the pest. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
  • Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add the measured amount of Acelepryn Insecticide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the sprayer tank lid and shake until the product is evenly mixed.
  • Step 3: Spray the mixed Acelepryn Insecticide to the top and bottom of foliage leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Depending on the pest you are trying to control, you will need to avoid irrigation or mowing for 24 hours after application or water the treated area immediately after treatment.

Where to Use

Acelepryn Insecticide can be used in commercial ornamental nurseries and greenhouses; and commercial sod farms. It may also be used in or on golf courses; sports and recreational turf; lawns and landscaped areas on and around residential, commercial and institutional properties; and interior plantscapes.
