The B&G 4190 Viton Gasket, manufactured by B&G, is specifically sold for use as a replacement part for B&G sprayers.

The gasket is an important part of the Extenda Ban Valve as it helps to prevent air from leaking from the mechanism, thus reducing the pressure.

This small gasket is located on the Extenda-Ban Wand, in the multeejet tip assembly. 4190 Viton Gasket is one of the many B&G replacement parts in the B&G Gasket Kit.These parts experience wear and tear over time and should be replaced on occasion.

Tools Needed

To use this part, you will need the appropriate B&G Sprayer to replace the part on and possibly a pair of pliers or a crescent wrench if the parts are tightly secured.

How to Use

• Step 1: Take the sprayer Multeejet tip assembly apart on the extenda ban valve. You can refer to the repair manual instructions for details on how to specifically do this.
• Step 2:After taking apart the assembly, remove the old gasket and replace with the new replacement Viton gasket.
• Step 3: Put your B&G Sprayer back together and test it out to ensure it is working properly.

Where to Use

The 4190 Viton Gasket is meant to be used only for replacement on a B&G Sprayers with Extenda Ban Valves.

When to Use

Replace the 4190 Viton Gasket when it has been damaged or you are experiencing a dip in spray pressure quality. How often this part is changed depends on how often you use the sprayer. If it is heavily used, the part wears and tears quicker. Typically at minimum we suggest changing it out annually.

Special Considerations

Along with the 4190 Viton Gasket, it would be wise to replace all the other small parts on the B&G Sprayer rather than just a single one at one time. Set a maintenance schedule for your sprayer and change out all the parts in one shot to save time so your sprayer can function like normal again.
