Tools Needed

2,4-D LV6 Herbicide can be applied with a hand-held sprayer or backpack sprayer for general residential applications.

How to Use

  • Step 2: Replace the cap and agitate by shaking the sprayer. Add the remaining water required and surfactant if needed, then repeat agitation until herbicide solution is thoroughly mixed.
  • Step 3: Spray the target weed, making sure to get even coverage and not overlap spray bands to ensure grass health.

  1. Q:Can this product be used safely on warm season crp grasses?
    6/8/23
A:2,4-D LV6 Herbicide does not specify if it can be used on either warm-seasoned or cool-seasoned turf. However it does state not to use on golf greens nor on dichondra or other broadleaf herbaceous ground covers. Do not use on creeping grasses such as bent and St. Augustine except for spot treating, nor on newly seeded turf until grass is well established. If unsure, it would be best to spray a small area and watch for discoloration or any other damages within the next 7 days.
