Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait, manufactured by Nisus, is an effective liquid borate base bait that instantly attracts and kills all common household ants like carpenter or little black ants and their colonies with one convenient application.
This liquid ant bait offers slow control over indoor and outdoor ants to allow the foraging ants to bring back the bait to their queen, effectively killing all present and future ants. It contains no odors and once ingested by the ant it kills them by disrupting their digestive systems.
Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait contains a higher percentage of the active ingredient Sodium Tertaborate Decahydrate 5.40% then other ants bait using this active ingredient. Another benefit of the active ingredient is that it is considered a natural ingredient with a low toxicity to people, but lethal to ants.
Tools Needed
Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait will need to be applied on a bait station or pieces of cardboard, paper, or foil. Bait station is not included with this purchase.
How to Use
- Step 1: Observe and Inspect areas where there is ant activity and note these spots for bait placement. With a rag soaked with water and soap, wipe down surfaces to remove crumbs, liquid food spills, and food aromas to encourage ants to visit the Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait. For general ant infestations, use a 1% dilution of Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait. For severe ant infestations, use a 2% dilution of this product.
- Step 2: To achieve a 1% dilution of Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait use 5 fl. oz. of product with 25 fl. oz. of water to achieve 1 quart of finished product. For a 2% dilution of Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait mix 10 fl. oz. of product with 20 fl. oz. of water to attain 1 quart of finished product.
- Step 3: Apply the 1% or 2% dilution of Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait to bait stations or pieces of cardboard, paper, or foil. For, best results use seven baits to ensure ants have sufficient supply of the product. Place the product where ants are seen, such as the edges of sinks, tubs, window sills, under food cabinets, along doors and baseboards and in corners. Monitor the baits regularly for ant activity, but do not interfere with it. Replace Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait when first application is gone. Once ants are controlled, replace baits every 3 months to keep ants from returning.

Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait can be used in and around: homes, hospitals, restaurants, apartments, grocery stores, institutional buildings, schools, cafeterias, warehouses, storage areas, food processing plants, mobile homes, boats, military bases, theaters, nursing homes, and on military, commercial and cruise ships.
Place bait in areas inaccessible to children and pets.
Do not use in edible product product areas of food handling establishments, restaurants, or other areas where food is commercially prepared or processed. This product may also not be used in serving areas while food is exposed.
When to Use
Use Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait when you are dealing with an indoor or outdoor ant infestation in or around your home. The most active times for ants are between spring and fall seasons.

As a effective ant bait killer, ants will first come in large numbers, but soon disappear. Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait is specifically formulated to allow worker ants to consume the product and survive long enough to carry the liquid back to the nest and deliver a dose to the rest of the colony. The key to obtaining effective control is to monitor the placements and ensure there is always a fresh supply of Terro PCO Liquid Ant Bait on each placement. Complete control may take up to two weeks.

This is the 2nd time I have received this product with leaking bait cartridges.. what a mess.
"Attraction" was the benchmark goal since most baits are successful in kill ratios.
But for kill to occur the bait must be consumed and Terro came out on top against all the other baits, and I think there were 6 total.
As always, be aware and safe in households where children and pets are present.

Q:what is kill time?9/15/19A:With any type of ant bait, you may get different results in kill time. Ants will die within 24-48 hours on ingesting the bait but because there could be hundreds of ants per colony you may not see any results until 2-3 weeks as long as you keep other food sources away from the baited areas.
