Terrazole 35WP Turf and Ornamental Fungicide

Terrazole 35WP Turf and Ornamental Fungicide by United Phosphorus is a water-soluble powder fungicide that controls damping-off, root rot, and stem diseases caused by Pythium and Phytophthora species.

It prevents and treats disease outbreaks from these pathogens within 10 days and remains effective for 4 to 12 weeks post-application. This helps reduce damage to ornamentals and can cure already affected plants.

Designed for commercial nurseries and greenhouses, Terrazole 35WP is easy to apply as a soil drench through chemigation.

How to Use

• Step 1: Calculate the treatment area in square feet by multiplying length by width. For golf course turf (tees and greens), mix 2 to 4 oz. of Terrazole 35WP in 2 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For bedding, flowering, foliage, and woody ornamentals, use 3.5 to 10 oz. per 100 gallons of water. For bed and bench grown plants with soil depth of 3 inches or less, apply 16 fl. oz. per square foot. For container plants with a 4 inch pot diameter, apply 2 fl. oz. per pot. Refer to the label for exact rates.
• Step 2: Mix in a separate tank. Add half the water, then the measured product. Stir until fully dissolved, then add the remaining water. Fill the chemigation system as instructed in its manual.
• Step 3: Apply using chemigation to thoroughly drench the soil.

Where to Use

Use Terrazole 35WP on golf course turf (greens and tees) and ornamental plants including bed and bench grown, container grown, bedding, flowering, foliage, and woody ornamentals.

For commercial turf only. Do not use on home lawns, sod farms, or public parks.

Use only in commercial nurseries and greenhouses. Use in residential greenhouses or indoor plant sites is prohibited.

When to Use

Apply Terrazole 35WP to both newly seeded and established turf. Treat ornamentals at seeding or transplanting.

Safety Information

When used as directed, Terrazole 35WP is safe around children and pets. Always wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying.

Keep people and pets away from treated areas until sprays dry and at least 12 hours after application.

Do not allow animals to graze on treated areas or eat clippings from them.

After the Restricted Entry Interval (REI), when handling treated soil or planting media indoors, ensure continuous ventilation with a minimum of one full air exchange per hour.

Special Considerations

Indoor Restrictions: Entry into enclosed areas like greenhouses or potting sheds is prohibited during application unless you are a trained applicator wearing required PPE, including a respirator. Entry remains prohibited until one of the following ventilation criteria is met: 10 air exchanges; 2 hours of mechanical ventilation with outside air; 4 hours of passive ventilation; 11 hours no ventilation plus 1 hour mechanical ventilation; 11 hours no ventilation plus 2 hours passive ventilation; or 24 hours no ventilation. After ventilation and until the REI expires, avoid entering treated areas except as permitted by the Worker Protection Standard (WPS).
