Temprid Dust
Temprid Dust is a powerful professional-grade insecticide that quickly targets and eliminates indoor pests in hard-to-reach spaces once they contact the dust.
11/30/25
Temprid Dust, manufactured by Envu, is a lightweight, long-lasting insecticide dust that effectively controls indoor insect infestations within residential, commercial, transport vehicles, and other man-made structures.
This powerful insecticide dust uses a combination of Flupyradifurone 1.00% and Beta-Cyfluthrin 0.50% to ensure total indoor pest control. While Flupyradifurone disrupts the nervous systems of pests like ants, cockroaches, and more, Beta-Cyuthrin provides a rapid knockdown effect, killing pests within 10 minutes after contact. The dust formulation makes it ideal for cracks, crevices, and voids where pests often hide and breed.
Temprid Dust is an easy-to-use insecticide dust that uses two modes of action in a lighter dust formulation than other pesticides on the market, resulting in longer applications in undisturbed areas. Compared to other dust pesticides, this product also allows for more product in the bottle ensuring an economical pest control approach.
Tools Needed
It can be applied using a handheld duster, brush, electric duster, power duster, or other suitable equipment.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Temprid Dust to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). A general application will use 0.25 to 0.50 lbs. of Temprid Dust per 1,000 sq. ft. For a smaller breakdown, this would be 1-2 grams of dust per square meter. If you are performing a spot treatment do not exceed two square feet in size (for example, 2 ft. by 1 ft. or 4 ft. by 0.5 ft.).
- Step 2: Open your duster as instructed in its product manual. Load half the amount of dust into the duster to ensure even airflow and avoid clumping.
- Step 3: Lightly dust cracks, crevices, and voids where pests have been seen or are likely to hide within labeled areas. You may also treat infested mattresses, but be sure to remove the linens and other coverings on it before application. Apply to tufts, seams, folds, and edges. Apply to bedsprings, box springs, and the interior of bed frames or headboards, including all cracks and joints. To treat infested upholstered furniture, apply only to the infested tufts, seams, folds, and edges, but do not apply to flat surfaces where prolonged human contact will occur. Re-apply every 7 to 10 days, as needed, until infestation is eliminated.
Where to Use
Temprid Dust can be applied indoors in residential and commercial facilities and other man-made structures in multi-family, industrial, institutional, municipal, research, daycare, health care, educational, recreational, office buildings, hotels, garages, transport vehicles, warehouses, theatres, food handling and food processing establishments (non food/feed areas only).
Do not apply outdoors.
When to Use
Apply when pests have been seen or when a bed bug infestation has become resistant to pyrethroids.
