Synerpro PBO
Synerpro PBO
Synepro PBO is manufactured by Control Solutions and is an emulsifiable concentrate synergist additive that can be mixed with insecticides used to eliminate pests from commercial and agricultural properties and reduce infestations. SynerPro PBO's main active ingredient is piperonyl butoxide.
When tank mixed, SynerPro PBO blocks the metabolic systems that would otherwise break down insecticides molecules, so it basically makes the insect more vulnerable to the insecticide you are using.
The product can be mixed and applied in misting, fogging or spray equipment to treat indoors and outdoors such as commercial building, turf, ornamentals and more.
Tools Needed
To use Synerpro PBO, you will need to tank mix it with an appropriate insecticide using appropriate equipment such as ground application sprayers, hand-held sprayers, power sprayers, foggers, ULV applicators, or by chemigation.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much SynerPro PBO you need to mix by determining which insecticide you will be tank mixing with Synerpro. Most insecticides are synergized at a rate of 1 to 10 parts Synerpro PBO active ingredient to 1 part insecticide active ingredient. For non-crop crack and crevice or broadcast surface sprays, the rate should not exceed 8 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. of treated area. Outdoor treatments should be done at a rate of 1.2 fl. oz. per 1000 sq. ft. Do not apply more than once per day.
- Step 2: Prior to tank mixing, do a compatibility test using the proper proportions of pesticide, synergist and water to ensure physical compatibility of the mixture. Mix at a rate of 2 to 8 fl oz of Synerpro PBO per acre, based on the amount of active ingredient. Test the mixture on a small sample of plants to see if there is any phtotoxic injury.
- Step 3: Mix your insecticide in your sprayer of choice and then add the appropriate amount of Synerpro based on your calculations and treatment area. Mix well and then apply to target pests.
Where to Use
Synerpro PBO can be tank mixed with other pyrethroids, carbamates, abamectin, and other insecticides. This product can be used on residential dwellings, or indoors in commercial and industrial buildings, turf, ornamentals, crop, on livestock (including lactating dairy animals, meat and poultry animals), and livestock housing.
When to Use
Use Synerpro PBO when there is an infestation of insects in a sensitive area like around your yard or other areas where toxic chemicals are discouraged. Mixing Synerpro PBO with an pyrethroid insecticide can super-charge the product and deliver exceptional results.
Safety Information
Synerpro PBO is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.
Do not enter or allow children, pets, and workers to enter treated areas until 12 hours have passed after application and treated areas have dried.
Special Considerations
Be forewarned that Synerpro PBO on its own is not an insecticide but rather is an additive used to be mixed with insecticides. It is ineffective in killing insects on its own.
