Summit Tick & Flea Spray RTS
Summit Tick & Flea Spray RTS
Summit Tick & Flea Spray RTS, manufactured by Summit Chemical, is a potent liquid insecticide that is effective against reoccurring biting and chewing pests such as mosquitoes around the home or in bushy areas.
With its active ingredient permethrin 2.5%, this product will completely remove nuisance pests by leaving a long-lasting barrier for up to 4 weeks without harming desired foliage.
Summit Tick & Flea Spray RTS is a versatile product that can be attached to a garden hose without minimum mixing required. As a flexible insecticide, this product may be used with a handheld tank sprayer for easier spot treatments and ease of mobility to treat hard to reach areas.
Tools Needed
Summit Tick & Flea Spray RTS comes ready to use as a hose-end sprayer attachment. However, you will need a water hose to attach with the nozzle of the product container.
How to Use
- Step 1: Mow your homes lawn to reach a height of 3 inches before application. Completely water lawns and grasses a few hours before applying Summit Tick & Flea Spray RTS. Determine how much Summit Tick & Flea Spray RTS to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment site. To find this, measure the treatment areas length and width in feet and multiply (length X width = square footage). For hose-end sprayer applications, you will simply attach the container to the hose. 1 quart of Summit Tick & Flea Spray RTS will treat up to 5,000 sq. ft. Shake the product container well before attaching to water hose and make sure knob is twisted fully to off position.
- Step 2: Attach the Summit Tick & Flea Spray RTS container to the end of your water hose and adjust the hose-end sprayer to deliver a 1 to 100 dilution. Bend the safety tab down and turn control knob to water. Only clear water will be sprayed when water is turned to on.
- Step 3: Point the Summit Tick & Flea Spray RTS nozzle towards the area to be treated and turn the control knob to on to automatically mix the product with water. Thoroughly spray all surfaces of plant leaves until they are wet to the point of run-off. When finished spraying turn the control knob to off/closed position. Repeat treatment when 2 weeks have passed after first application for heavy insect infestations.
