Sumari Insecticide
04/03/26
Sumari Insecticide, manufactured by MGK, is a convenient insecticide concentrate that provides immediate and long-lasting control over a wide variety of pests for up to 90 days.
This multi-functional insecticide incorporates the power of Nyguard Insect Growth Regulator to prevent pests such as cockroaches and ants from developing into adults. In addition, Sumari Insecticide functions as a non-repellent insecticide ensuring a large amount of insects come into contact with the spray, leading to a maximum population reduction.
Sumari Insecticide is an effective adulticide and insect growth regulator combination that boosts indoor activities and plant life success with one easy application.
Tools Needed
You will need to use either a backpack sprayer, mist sprayer, power sprayer, backpack mist blowers, handheld pump sprayers, or mechanical sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Sumari Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). To treat indoor pests as a spot treatment or crack and crevice treatment, apply 1-2 fl. oz. of Sumari Insecticide per gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For light pest infestations outdoors, use 1 fl. oz. of product per gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Applications against heavy pest infestations outdoors will use a rate of 2 fl. oz. of product per gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Do not apply more than 1.49 gallons of product per acre per year or more than 4.35 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. per year.
- Step 2: Mix Sumari Insecticide only with water. Begin mixing by filling the sprayer with approximately half the required amount of water, add measured amount of Sumari Insecticide, then slowly add the remaining half of water. Agitate the mixture thoroughly before using and occasionally during use to ensure dispersion.
- Step 3: Apply the mixed Sumari Insecticide until the target surface is completely covered, but not to the point of runoff or drip. When applying in residential or commercial structures, do not allow spray to contact food or food containing surfaces, feed or water supplies. Thoroughly wash dishes and food handling utensils with soap and water if they become contaminated with this product. Make spot, crack and crevice, and or void applications where pests may enter, forage, or nest. When making broadcast applications across lawns, spray the product to the top and bottom of turf blades until wet, but not to the point of drip. Do not irrigate treated areas until 24 hours have passed after application.

Sumari Insecticide is for use, indoors and outdoors, in non-food areas: backyards*, lawns*, trees*, ornamental landscaping*, recreational areas*, parks* and athletic fields*. Also for use in and around homes, schools, warehouses, office buildings, apartment buildings, theaters, hotels, resorts, industrial buildings, motels, camp sites/campgrounds, aircraft cargo areas, kennels, livestock and poultry housing, horse stables, feed lots, zoos, food processing plants, food service establishments, restaurants, outdoor dining areas, supermarkets and grocery stores, transportation equipment, truck trailers, railroad cars and food manufacturing and warehousing establishments.
