Tools Needed
You will need a watering can, handheld sprayer, or backpack sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Start, Root, and Bloom Water Soluble Fertilizer 10-30-20 to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For a transplanting solution, mix 2 tablespoonfuls of Start, Root, and Bloom Water Soluble Fertilizer 10-30-20 per gallon of water. For soil application to outdoor plants, mix 1 tablespoonful of product per 1 gallon of water. Soak the root area using about 1 gallon of solution per 4 square feet of bed area with a water can or hose end applicator. For foliar feeding, use 1 tablespoonful of product per gallon of water. For houseplants with large containers and pots, use 2 teaspoons per gallon. For small potted plants, apply a lower rate of 1 teaspoonful per gallon or 1/4 teaspoon per quart.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until evenly mixed.
- Step 3: Cover foliage completely with spray. Repeat every 1 to 2 weeks during active growing seasons as a drench application on outdoor plants. For foliage applications on outdoor plants, apply every 1 to 2 weeks or as needed. Use every 1 to 2 weeks when you water, or as needed for houseplants.
