The active ingredient Lambda-Cyhalothrin is designed to quickly knock down insects on contact, meaning you’ll often see results within minutes of application. When insects come into contact with or ingest it, lambda-cyhalothrin disrupts the normal function of nerve cells by keeping sodium channels open. This leads to paralysis and death within minutes to hours, depending on the insect and exposure.

How to Use

• Step 1: Shake well before each use. Determine how much Sevin Insect Killer Ready to Use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). One quart of Sevin Insect Killer Ready to Use will treat 62.5 sq. ft.
• Step 2: Adjust nozzle to a narrow fan spray.
• Step 3: Hold the sprayer about 1 foot from the plant and spray just enough to cover the area that is to be treated. For outdoor perimeter treatments, apply a 3 ft band around the structure and upwards along the foundation to 3 feet and around windows, doors, and roof overhangs. Do not apply more than 10 times per location, per year for lawns. Do not apply more than 5 times per growing season to corn. For all other crops, do not apply more than 9 times per growing season.

Refer to the product label as each harvest interval will vary for each crop.

Special Considerations

This product will not stain most home siding. However, before using, it is recommended to test on the siding (vinyl in particular) in an area that is not readily visible. Recheck after a few hours. If any staining is observed, DO NOT use.
