PyGanic Crop Protection EC 5.0 ll Insecticide
PyGanic Crop Protection EC 5.0 ll Insecticide is an effective, fast-acting botanical-derived insecticide set to deliver complete broad-spectrum control over plant pests in various crops.
04/05/26
PyGanic Crop Protection EC 5.0 ll Insecticide, manufactured by MGK, is a broad-spectrum insecticide that controls dozens of challenging insects in greenhouses, nurseries, and outdoor growing crops with a consistent and reliable knockdown effect.
Formulated with 5% pyrethrins derived from chrysanthemum flowers, this emulsifiable concentrate provides quick control of pests upon contact, reducing damage to crops. One of PyGanic’s most attractive features for growers is its zero-day pre-harvest interval. This means you can apply it up to and on the day of harvest, which is a huge benefit for managing last-minute infestations in sensitive food crops.
With its high concentration of natural pyrethrins, zero-day PHI, and broad-spectrum performance, PyGanic Crop Protection EC 5.0 II Insecticide remains a go-to solution for growers who demand both power and purity.
Tools Needed
It can be applied with all types of agricultural sprayers, including compressed air sprayers or pump driven sprayers. This also includes backpack or handheld sprayers.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much PyGanic Crop Protection EC 5.0 ll Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). To treat growing crops outdoors and in greenhouses and nurseries, apply 4.5 to 15.61 fl. oz. of PyGanic Crop Protection EC 5.0 ll Insecticide per 25 gallons of water per acre. This product may be applied by air at the rate of 4.5 to 15.61 fl. oz. per acre in a minimum of 2 gallons of water per acre for field crops and a minimum of 10 gallons of water per acre for orchard crops. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. Do not apply more than 10 times per season.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the water tank lid and shake until mixed.
- Step 3: Apply as a broadcast spray to the entire orchard or vineyard floor. Do not wet plants to the point of runoff or drip. Do not reapply within 3 days except under extreme pest pressure.
