The Pro-Pest Clothes Moth Trap, manufactured by J.F. Oakes, is a premium moth trap that removes moths and also signals homeowners and professionals when an infestation is present, as well as its size.

This non-toxic moth trap uses no harsh chemicals but is pre-baited with Tineola bisselliella pheromones to attract webbing clothes moths and their larvae from hiding places such as wool, leather, silk, and feathers. This natural lure will attract male webbing clothes moths and their larvae, which will then become stuck in the adhesive. As a result, these dual-action moth glue traps control future and present populations.

Pro-Pest Clothes Moth Trap can easily be folded into a triangular shape for discreet control or early detection of moths before their population increases. It may also be hung up or simply placed on a shelf to attract and prevent webbing clothes moths from eating through wardrobes and other materials. Once placed, this odorless product will continue to get rid of webbing clothes moths and their larvae between 10 to 12 weeks.

Tools Needed

These traps are ready-to-use and do not require additional application tools.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Observe moth activity to determine the best locations to place Pro-Pest Clothes Moth Trap.
  • Step 2: Once you have determined the areas where the pests are most active, you can set the traps. To set, remove the release paper covering the glue and fold the trap into a triangular shape, as shown on the diagram on the product label or the product itself.
  • Step 3: Once the Pro-Pest Clothes Moth Trap is set, write the date on it. This will help remind you when to remove or replace the moth trap.
  • Step 4: Place one trap per single confined area. In museums, warehouses, and other large areas, use 1 trap every 15 to 25 ft, depending upon the infestation. Traps should also be placed in closets, wardrobes, and other areas where fabrics such as clothes, rugs, woolens, silks, hides, furs, and feathers are located.
  • Step 5: Check the Pro-Pest Clothes Moth Trap weekly to monitor moth activity. The traps are attractive for 12 weeks. Dispose of the filled trap and replace it with a fresh trap to continually monitor for webbing clothes moths.

Where to Use

Pro-Pest Clothes Moth Traps can be used in closets, storage rooms, and other locations where various fabrics are kept to prevent moth damage. They can be used in and around museums, commercial buildings, residential buildings, homes, apartments, clothing shops, and carpet warehouses.

When to Use

This product can be used as a preventative method or at any time when clothes moths are suspected. Each Pro-Pest Clothes Moth Trap lasts for up to 12 weeks and can be replaced as needed.
