Prime Source Triad T Select
Prime Source Triad T Select is a professional-grade, selective herbicide that provides fast and effective post-emergent control of broadleaf weeds in both cool- and warm-season turfgrass.
10/30/25
Prime Source Triad T Select, manufactured by Prime Source LLC, is a convenient four-way herbicide concentrate that delivers fast, rainfast, and highly effective post-emergent control of over 80 tough broadleaf weeds in turf, even in cool weather conditions.
This selective post-emergent herbicide is carefully formulated with four active ingredients to provide rapid, reliable, and long-lasting control of some of the toughest broadleaf weeds, such as plaintain, poison ivy, and field bindweed in turf. Many herbicides struggle when temperatures drop. Prime Source Triad T Select, however, offers improved cool-weather performance, extending the treatment window and giving turf managers more flexibility.
Prime Source Triad T Select is an excellent professional-grade, post-emergent herbicide that delivers consistent, effective results across a broad-spectrum of broadleaf weeds in a wide variety of turf situations. It features a rainfast time of just 3 hours, ensuring reliable weed control even if unexpected rain occurs shortly after application. Providing confidence and consistent results in variable weather conditions.
Tools Needed
A handheld pump sprayer, hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig will be needed.
How to Use
- Step 1: Delay mowing 2 days before and until 2 days after the application of this product. Determine how much Prime Source Triad T Select to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For cool-seasoned turf, apply 1.2 to 1.5 fl. oz. of Prime Source Triad T Select per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For warm-seasoned turf, use 0.75 to 0.83 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Do not apply more than 2 applications per year. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of the weed leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. If needed, a second application can be done when 30 days have passed after the first application. Do not irrigate or water the treated area within 48 hours after application.
