Prescott Broadleaf Weed Herbicide
Prescott Broadleaf Weed Herbicide is manufactured by Alligare and is a post-emergent broadleaf herbicide that provides season-long control of broadleaf weeds. This product comes in a 2.5-gallon jug and has a low usage rate which will make it last a long time in commercial settings.
Tools Needed
To use this product you will need a backpack, tank, or hand sprayer. A hand-pump sprayer would be ideal for smaller applications.
How to Use
- Step 1: Fill a hand-pump sprayer halfway with water and then mix inPrescott Broadleaf Weed Herbicide at a rate of 0.37 to 1.5 ounces per 1,000 square feet . Fill the sprayer the rest of the way with water and agitate the sprayer until mixed.
- Step 2: Spray the product onto the labeled area where you would like to control problematic weeds. Make sure to put the sprayer on a fan setting to get nice uniform coverage. Application rates may differ slightly depending on the weed you are trying to treat.
- Step 3: Reapply as needed to control weeds before they emerge.
Where to Use
Prescott Broadleaf Weed Herbicide can be used on rangeland and permanent grass pastures, non-crop areas such as fence rows, non-irrigation ditch banks, roadsides and around farm buildings, and CRP acres.
This product cannot be used in landscaping or on turfgrass or lawns.
When to Use
Use Prescott Herbicide when weeds are 6 inches or less in height and are actively growing.
Safety Information
Make sure to wear the proper PPE when applying this product (goggles,gloves, face mask etc). The product is safe for pets and children if used according to label directions. After treatment, keep pets and children away from the treated area until the product as dried.
Special Considerations
Prescott Broadleaf Weed Herbicide needs an approved non-ionic surfactant for all applications.
