Powerpak Water Soluble Fertilizer 20-20-20

Powerpak Water Soluble Fertilizer 20-20-20, manufactured by Southern Agricultural Products, is a very popular balanced fertilizer that delivers essential nutrients for ornamentals, turf, tobacco, and more. 

At its core, this product is a balanced, all-purpose fertilizer that contains a 20-20-20 npk blend that promotes leafy green growth and overall plant vigor, promotes leafy green growth and overall plant vigor, and overall plant hardiness. But that’s not all it also contains chelated minor elements (micronutrients). Because they’re chelated, these elements are more available to plants, even in soils where they might otherwise get “locked up” and unusable.

A handheld pump sprayer or backpack sprayer will be needed. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Powerpak Water Soluble Fertilizer 20-20-20 to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For drench applications on plant beds and potted plants, use 2 lbs. of Powerpak Water Soluble Fertilizer 20-20-20 per 100 gallons of water (2 tsp. of product per gallon). Apply at the rate of 1 quart per square foot or 100 gallons per 400 square feet. For spray applications on vegetables, tobacco, ornamentals, house plants, shrubsand trees, use 5 lbs. of product per 100 gallons of water (2 TBS. of product per gallon). Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until well-mixed.
• Step 3: Spray directly to the soil around the base of plants. Apply monthly or as needed for turf. Repeat treatment every 1 to 3 weeks on plant beds and potted plants.

Where to Use

Powerpak Water Soluble Fertilizer 20-20-20 can be used on ornamentals, flowers, roses, shrubs, trees, lawns, houseplants, tobacco, and vegetables. 

When to Use

Spring and summer are the prime feeding times for most plants. Nitrogen supports rapid green growth, while phosphorus and potassium fuel root and flower development.

For vegetables, fruit trees, and flowering plants, apply just before buds set ensures plants have enough energy to produce larger flowers and healthier fruit.

Special Considerations
