Pennington Fast Acting Gypsum

Pennington Fast Acting Gypsum, manufactured by pennington, is an advanced soil conditioner and amendment that combines high-quality gypsum with Advanced Soil Technology (AST) to improve soil structure, aeration, and water penetration while revitalizing compacted, poorly draining, and salt-damaged soils.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Pennington Fast Acting Gypsum to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For lawns, apply 30 lbs. of Pennington Fast Acting Gypsum per 5,000 sq. ft. For shrubs, use 1 cup of product surrounding the base. For vegetable gardens and flower gardens, apply 1 lb. of product for every 100 sq. ft. 
• Step 2: Adjust the spreader to the proper setting, then load with the proper amount of product. 
• Step 3: Apply evenly over the target area, avoiding excessive overlap. 

Where to Use

Pennington Fast Acting Gypsum can be applied to all soil types. It is especially effective with clay and other compacted soils. It helps to maintain an adequate supply of calcium and sulfur for root uptake. It is especially useful in pH sensitive soils because it does not effect soil pH.

When to Use

You can apply at any time of the year, though we encourage application at the beginning of each growing season for the best results.
