Panoramic 2SL Imazapic Herbicide
Panoramic 2SL Herbicide is an effective pre- and post-emergent herbicide designed to prevent or control perennial broadleaf weeds and grasses from growing on non-cropland and pastures.
Panoramic 2SL Imazapic Herbicide, manufactured by Alligare, is a pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide that uses the active ingredient ammonium salt of imazapic 23.3% to control broadleaf weeds and various grasses before and after growth has occurred.
This emulsifiable concentrate begins to soak into the foliage or soil and will remain effective after rainfall or irrigation when applied within 1 hour of application.
Panoramic 2SL Imazapic Herbicide is an effective herbicide that continues to control unwanted vegetation while also helping to establish native grasses and wildflowers.
Tools Needed
You will need a backpack sprayer or handheld pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Panoramic 2SL Imazapic Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, divide the square footage by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For spot treatments, mix 0.3 fl oz. to 1.9 fl. oz. of Panoramic 2SL Imazapic Herbicide per 1 gallon of water to treat 1,000 sq. ft. It would be best to refer to the product label for more specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the water, add a measured amount of Panoramic 2SL Imazapic Herbicide, and then pour in the remaining half of the water. Lastly, add your chosen surfactant if you decide to use one. Close the spray tank lid and shake until the solution is evenly mixed.
- Step 3: Keep the agitation process going while making applications. If using a handheld pump or backpack sprayer, mix the solution continuously. Apply to target areas, spraying to wet but not to the point of runoff.
Where to Use
Panoramic 2SL Imazapic Herbicide can be used along roadways, utility, pipelines and highways, railroad crossings, utility plant sites, petroleum tank storage areas, pumping installation sites, non-agricultural fence rows, storage areas, non-irrigation ditch banks, prairie sites, airports, turfs on industrial properties, golf courses, recreation and non-residential properties.
Do not apply this product to residential lawns.
When to Use
As a pre-emergent herbicide, Panoramic can be applied in label-approved areas before broadleaf weeds or various label-listed grasses grow. It is recommended to spray Panoramic 2SL Imazapic Herbicide during calm weather, and applications should not be made if rain is forecast within an hour of application.
If making applications to rangelands, allow the specific label listed weeds to appear.
Safety Information
Panoramic 2SL is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not allow people or pets to enter treated areas until sprays have dried.
Special Considerations
When applying Panoramic 2SL, apply as low to the ground as possible during calm weather to prevent evaporation and accidental drift to non-targeted areas. Read the product label instructions for treating specific areas and controlling specific weeds or grasses for maximum results.
