Osmocote 18-6-12 (8-9M) Fertilizer
Osmocote 18-6-12 (8-9M) Fertilizer
Osmocote 18-6-12 (8-9M) Fertilizer, manufactured by ICL Speciality Fertilizer, is a specially formulated lo-start fertilizer that keeps flowers and landscape bed plants lush and beautiful throughout the season.
Each homogenous granule contains a 18-6-12 npk to consistently feed multiple plant types for 8-9 months helping to eliminate consistent reapplication and ensures a nutrient boost by the end of the 3rd growth cycle.
Osmocote 18-6-12 (8-9M) Fertilizer is an excellent slow-release fertilizer that promotes a secure base feed for heavy feeding greenhouse and nursery crops.
Tools Needed
Osmocote 18-6-12 (8-9M) Fertilizer will need to be applied with a handheld spreader or measuring spoon (not intended for cooking and food reuse).
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much 18-6-12 (8-9M) Fertilizer to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). To treat 539 common container sizes measuring 6 inches Aza/HB (1.5 qt.), use 6, 9, or 13 grams of Osmocote 18-6-12 (8-9M) Fertilizer per cubic yard. For larger containers that are 10 gallons with a 17" diameter and a surface area of 1.4 sq. ft., use 110, 173, or 235 grams of product. Other larger containers that do not show on this label can be found by multiplying the actual container surface area in sq. ft. by these rates: 78, 123, or 168.
- Step 2: Load your spreader with the proper amount of Osmocote 18-6-12 (8-9M) Fertilizer, make sure to calibrate it to deliver the desired rate of product. If you are using a measuring spoon, we recommend filling it near the treatment area while wearing gloves.
- Step 3: Spread the granules of Osmocote 18-6-12 (8-9M) Fertilizer to the top layer of soil or mix it into soil within plant containers and landscape bed until it is evenly coated. Do not apply product against plant stem. After treatment, lightly water the granules. Do not over-mix as this could damage fertilizer coating.
Where to Use
Apply Osmocote 18-6-12 (8-9M) Fertilizer to soil in containers with flowers and the soil of landscape beds. It may also be applied in nurseries, foliage and greenhouse production, container gardens, hanging plant baskets, and interiorscapes.
Do not apply this product to and around plant stems.
When to Use
