How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much NM Professional Granular Deer Repellent to use by measuring the linear feet of the treatment area. To find this, measure the length of the treatment area in inches and then divide the total number of inches by 12 to convert to feet. Multiply total lengths X. 1.67 (for 20" band). 
• Step 2: Using a scoop (not a broadcast spreader), apply the granules starting 18 inches away from the edge of flowerbeds, gardens, ground covers, and other plants at risk. Spread a 20-inch wide visible band around the perimeter. For larger plots, increase the width of the band to 24 inches and add interior 18-inch strips spaced 25 to 30 feet apart to reinforce protection. Be sure to also treat deer entry points, apply two 20-inch wide strips of repellent directly across the path, spacing them 5 feet apart. This double band creates a strong barrier to help deter deer from crossing into protected areas.
• Step 3: Reapply every 40 to 60 days.

NM Professional Granular Deer Repellent can be used for spring seedlings, sprouts, evergreens, ornamental shrubs, and flowers and vegetables such as mums, berries, pumpkins, cotton, grapes, etc.

When to Use

Apply before or during active deer activity during the spring, summer, fall, and winter seasons. 

It can also be applied before and then on top of snow cover.
