Monterey Fungi-Fighter
Monterey Fungi-Fighter
Monterey Fungi-Fighter, manufactured by Monterey, is a efficient suspended concentrate fungicide that prevents harmful diseases like leaf spot from forming on roses, flowers, shrubs, and trees with the active ingredient propiconazole.
With its systemic formulation, this fungicide will quickly absorb into foliage for full protection and elimination of diseases.
Monterey Fungi-Fighter is a dependable fungicide that will stop several major diseases before full death of plant can occur then continue to encourage growth with its reliable 4-week residual rate.
Tools Needed
To apply Monterey Fungi-Fighter, you will need either a handheld pump sprayer or hose-end sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Monterey Fungi-Fighter to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For a general application on ornamentals, use 1 tablespoon (1/2 oz.) of Monterey Fungi-Fighter per gallon of water. For established lawns, apply 5 fl. oz. of product in 1 gallon of water per 250 sq. ft. For new lawn seedlings, use 5 fl. oz. of product in 2 gallons of water per 500 sq. ft. Depending on the foliage type and disease the rate will vary so it would be best to refer to the product label.
- Step 2: To fill the hose-end sprayer, add the measured amount of Montery Fungi-Fighter. Close sprayer, attach to hose and spray to add the desired amount of water. For a handheld pump sprayer, fill it with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then lastly add the remaining half of water into the tank and shake until solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Apply the mixed Monterey Fungi-Fighter to the point just when it begins to run off of the leaves. Allow spray to dry before watering plants.
Where to Use
Monterey Fungi-Figher can be used on roses, flowers, lawns, trees, shrubs, and non-bearing fruit and nut trees.
Do not apply this product to African violets, begonias, Boston ferns, or geraniums.
