Monterey Foli-Cal RTU

Monterey Foli-Cal RTU, manufactured by Monterey, is a convenient calcium-based liquid spray that quickly and efficiently addresses calcium deficiencies in crops. 

Calcium is often lacking in soils, especially where it is acidic or sandy where nutrients are known to leach out faster. Using this easy to spray product helps plants such as melons, tomatoes, peppers, and more to absorb calcium directly into their leaves, bypassing the challenges of current soil conditions. 

Monterey Foli-Cal RTU effectively reduces physiological disorders associated with low calcium levels like a bitter pit, blossom-end rot, and internal browning, resulting in better growth and yield of crops. It is particularly beneficial for vine, fruit, and vegetable crops with high calcium needs during their growth phases. 

Tools Needed

This product comes ready to use with no other application tools necessary. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Identify the calcium deficiencies in the crop and be sure it is not some other type of underlying disease. Ensure the product is well shaken before applying. 
• Step 2: Spray Monterey Foli-Cal RTU on the entire plant leaf surface, covering the top and bottom until wet. 

Where to Use

Monterey Foli-Cal RTU can be used for tomatoes, peppers, apples, melons, celery, potato tubers, pears, grapes, and ornamentals. 

When to Use

Apply to actively growing plants or when they are showing signs of calcium deficiency. 

For tomatoes, vegetables, and ornamentals, make applications during the 10-12 true leaf stage, then at 14 day intervals as needed.

Do not apply to foliage when plants are suffering from moisture or heat stress.

Monterey Foli-Cal RTU is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying this product. 

Special Considerations

Other calcium and nutrient deficiencies in plants will not be corrected with this product.
