Monterey Bug Buster-O, manufactured by Monterey, is a dependable pyrethrin based insecticide concentrate that kills more than 100 listed insects on contact.

With its broad-spectrum control, this product will effectively reduce pest activity such as flea beetles, fungus gnats, and cabbageworms within vegetables and ornamental garden plants.

Monterey Bug Buster-O utilizes a rapid knockdown effect on various pests yet remain safe enough to be used on herbs, vegetables, and ornamental plant gardens all the way to day of harvest.

Tools Needed

To apply Monterey Bug Buster-O, you will need to use a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or agricultural sprayer.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Monterey Bug Buster-O to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Dilute 1 to 1.4 fl. oz. of Monterey Bug Buster-O per gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. for all applications. Do not exceed the maximum application rates of 1.4 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft.
  • Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Monterey Bug Buster-O, then add in the remaining half of water. Close the spray tank lid and shake until solution is mixed. Mix only enough for immediate use.
  • Step 3: Spray the Monterey Bug Buster-O solution until foliage is throughly treated, but not to the point of runoff.
