It can be applied with a water bucket, handheld pump sprayer, or hose-end sprayer. 

How to Use

• Step 1: If there are any existing weeds and pest activity be sure to remove these before application to increase success rate. Depending on your preference, the application rate will vary. Apply 2 tbs. of Monterey All Purpose 10-9-5 Fertilizer per 1 gallon of water for once a month applications. For applications twice a month, apply 1 tbs. of product per 1 gallon of water. Each watering will require 1 tsp. of product per 1 gallon of water. 
• Step 2: Fill your sprayer or watering can with half the amount of water. Add in the proper amount of product. While stirring or agitating the solution, pour in the remaining half of the water. Ensure the solution has completely dissolved in the water before application.
• Step 3: To perform a foliar application, spray the top and bottom of the plant leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. A soil drench can be done by spraying around the plant's root zone. Do not water for at least 24 hours to avoid washing off fertilizer. This allows the uptake of nutrients into the leaf.

Apply early in the morning or late evening.
