Manor Selective Herbicide
Manor Selective Herbicide is a specialized post-emergent herbicide that targets both broadleaf and grassy weeds in warm-seasoned and cool-seasoned lawns, golf courses, sod farms, parks, and cemeteries.
03/15/26
Manor Selective Herbicide, manufactured by Nufarm, is a premium, selective post-emergent herbicide that delivers effective control over annual and perennial grassy weeds and broadleaf weeds in warm-seasoned and cool-seasoned turfgrasses.
It is powered by the active ingredient metsulfuron-methyl, which belongs to the sulfonylurea family of herbicides - well-known for their potency, selectivity, and long-lasting performance. Because of its selectivity, it targets weeds aggressively while leaving desirable turfgrass species unharmed when used properly.
Manor Selective Herbicide is a reliable post-emergent water-dispersable granule herbicide that delivers complete control over emerged weeds with its super-low use rates, making it economical. It’s easy to mix, cost-effective thanks to its incredibly low use rate, and versatile enough to be used across lawns, golf courses, sod farms, and large commercial turf settings.
Tools Needed
You will need to use a spray rig or aircraft.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Manor Selective Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the weed, use 0.25 to 1 oz. of Manor Selective Herbicide per 10 to 80 gallons of water per acre.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until well-mixed.
- Step 3: Adjust the sprayer nozzle to deliver a fine, coarse spray pattern. Spray above the treatment area no higher than 3 feet. Reapply when 4 to 6 weeks have passed after application.
Where to Use
Manor Selective Herbicide can be used on warm-seasoned and cool-seasoned turf in ornamental turf, lawns, parks, cemeteries, golf courses (fairways, aprons, tees, and roughs), sod farms, and similar turf areas.
For use only on Kentucky Bluegrass, fine Fescue, Bermudagrass, and St. Augustine grasses.
