Kaput-D Burrow Builder Pocket Gopher Bait by Scimetrics is an effective gopher bait which controls gophers with the help of a powerful anticoagulant Diphacinone. This bait comes in a wheat formulation that is palatable to gophers and can be used to kill gophers trespassing on golf courses, lawns, rangeland, and other areas. This is done by creating artificial burrows that the gophers will approach and explore. The formula is so powerful that best-case scenario, gophers will die within a week. Kaput-D also has an antidote in case non-target animals accidentally eat the bait. Kaput-D Burrow Builder Pocket Gopher Bait (Wheat) is a Restricted Use Product (RUP) that will require you to have a Certified Applicator's License provided to you by your state.

This is a specialty restricted-use product and is meant to be used in machine applicators using machine burrow equipment.
How to Use
- Step 1: Observe the pocket gopher runways that have been made on the property. Wherever you see an open mound, that is their main runway. You can locate the main runway by using a rod or something similar to probe the mounds.
- Step 2: Using a mechanical burrow building machine, construct artificial burrows at the same depth as existing gopher tunnels spaced about 20 to 30 feet apart. Apply at a rate of 6 to 8 pounds per acre.
- Step 3: Repeat application if fresh mound appears after 2 to 3 weeks.
Where to Use
Kaput-D Burrow Builder Bait is used to control pocket gophers in and bordering crops (alfalfa, forage, hay, vegetables, and grains), in rangelands, orchards, and non-crop areas (forestry, plantations, golf courses, lawns and other turf areas, level/ditch banks, nurseries, parks and around agricultural buildings).
When to Use
Use Kaput-D Burrow Builder Pocket Gopher Bait when you have noticed gopher damage or have seen gophers trespassing the property. This can be indicated by seeing gophers themselves or the mounds they dig.
