JT Eaton Bait Blocks For Rodents and Ticks
JT Eaton Bait Blocks For Rodents and Ticks is a rodenticide and insecticide combination that effectively kills rodents and their black-legged ticks in one easy-to-use, economical product.
04/13/26
JT Eaton Bait Blocks For Rodents and Ticks, manufactured by J.T. Eaton, is a specially combined rodenticide and insecticide bait that controls rats, mice, and their ticks indoors and outdoors.
With the active ingredient fipronil 0.005%, it reduces the spread of ticks, including those that may spread Lyme disease, and effectively kills the rodent population with warfarin 0.025%. These active ingredients are lethal and palatable to rats and mice at deficient concentrations, making them a lower risk for indoor control and an economical product.
JT Eaton Bait Blocks For Rodents and Ticks is a multi-feed bait that offers excellent palatability and encourages rodent control safety due to its center-hole design, which allows the product to be secured inside a bait station.
Tools Needed
This rodenticide comes with pre-drilled holes and is ready to use as is. However, we recommend you have tamper-proof bait stations and gloves.
These stations must be resistant to destruction by children under six years of age and dogs and must be used in a manner that prevents such children from reaching into bait compartments and obtaining bait.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine areas where listed rodents are most likely to find and consume the bait. Generally, these areas will be along walls, by gnawed openings, in corners and concealed places, between floors or walls, beside burrow openings, and in other locations where signs of rodents have been seen. Remove as much alternative food as possible.
- Step 2: With a glove-covered hand, place 4 to 16 JT Eaton Bait Blocks For Rodents and Ticks in each bait station to control rats. Space each bait station at intervals of 15 to 30 feet in infested areas. To get rid of mice and meadow voles, apply 1 to 2 bait blocks per bait station. For extreme mice and meadow vole infestations, use 2 bait blocks. Space each bait station at intervals of 8 to 12 feet in infested areas.
- Step 3: Continue wearing gloves while placing the bait stations loaded with JT Eaton Bait Blocks For Rodents and Ticks or replacing the bait in these stations. Immediately replace contaminated or spoiled bait, but maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait every 10 days for rats and 15 days for mice and meadow voles. Maintain this pattern until there are no longer any signs of new feeding activity by rodents or the pest itself ceases to appear. Properly collect and dispose of all dead animals.
Where to Use
JT Eaton Bait Blocks For Rodents and Ticks can be used indoors and within 100 feet outdoors of man-made structures such as homes and other permanent or temporary residences, food processing facilities, industrial and commercial buildings, trash receptacles, agricultural and public buildings, transport vehicles (ships, trains, aircraft), docks and port or terminal buildings and related structures around and associated with these sites.
Fence and perimeter baiting beyond 100 feet from a structure, as defined above, is prohibited.
This product must not be applied to food or feed crops.
When to Use
Use this product any time you notice rat or mouse activity. Signs could be seen as gnawing, rub marks along walls, droppings, foul odor, leftover plant residue or food in unusual sites, or the rodent itself is witnessed.
Safety Information
JT Eaton Bait Blocks For Rodents and Ticks is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying this product.
This product is toxic to aquatic invertebrates, mammals, and birds.
If children, pets, and non-target mammals or birds have access to bait, tamper-resistant bait stations must be used.
