Tools Needed

Setting up a Jagged Rodent Snap Trap does not require tools. For effective Rat trapping it does require a bait such as peanut butter and gloves should always be worn when handling.

How to Use

• Step 1: When rat activity is confirmed take the Jagged Rodent Trap and fill the bait cup with a suitable bait.
• Step 2: Set the trap by stepping on the trigger set up or you can step on it with your foot. Place the trap up against a wall near rat activity. When used outdoors, the trap can also be used inside rat bait stations to protect it from weather and keep children and pets from accessing it.
• Step 3: Check the trap periodically and pull back gently on the upright bar to release the rat. Continue to use the traps until rat activity has stopped.

Where to Use

The Jagged Rodent Snap Trap can be used indoors or outdoors. For the best results, place the trap next to a wall near rat activity. It is ideal to use in residential areas in attics, basements, inside cabinets around barns, and other areas where rat activity is found. It is not ideal to place traps around indoor areas that are not easily accessible or where pets and children can access it. When used outside, place in a bait station.

When to Use

The Jagged Rodent can be used anytime rat activity is speculated. Look for rat droppings or chew marks near areas where a food, warmth or shelter is available, especially during the winter months.
