Tools Needed

The use of 17lb. weights are required to secure the feeder lid. You will also need T-posts and rope to secure the feeder.

How to Use

• Step 1: Observe the area selected for treatment to identify where hog activity and trails are located.
• Step 2: Position the feeder in or near probable resting areas for hogs. From 1 to 3 feeders may be used per placement location, with feeders spaced no more than 10 ft apart in each cluster. Secure each feeder with T-posts or by tying to trees/shrubs to prevent hogs from tipping them. over
• Step 3: Load the feeder with the proper bait and refill as needed or instructed on the product label. 
• Step 4: Regularly check the feeder every 2-4 days to ensure there’s a constant feed supply. Return to the treatment site within 4 days after initial bait placement and then at 2 to 4-day intervals to inspect the site for dead or dying feral hogs.

Where to Use

Place hog feeders in or near probable resting areas for hogs, including brush near streams, dense cover, and tall vegetation.

When to Use

Use this unit when you are applying hog bait or non-toxic feed to monitor and control feral hogs.
