Hi-Yield Killzall Extended Control
Hi-Yield Killzall Extended Control
Hi-Yield Killzall Extended Control, manufactured by VPG, is a successful pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide that kills and prevent weeds and grasses in areas where no vegetation is desired.
Featuring glyphosate 40.15% and prodiamine 7.51%, which works in this dual-action herbicide to make quick work against weeds like crabgrass, chickweed, and poa annua.
Hi-Yield Killzall Extended Control provides complete control over undesired vegetation along fences, driveways, and other non-crop sites for up to 6 months, making this an economical product.
Tools Needed
To apply Hi-Yield Killzall Extended Control, you will need to use either a handheld pump sprayer or backpack sprayer with a tank made from plastic, aluminum, fiberglass, plastic-lined steel or stainless steel.
Do not apply with a galvanized or unlined steel (except stainless steel) sprayer, or through any irrigation system.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Hi-Yield Killzall Extended Control to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Apply 3 to 5.75 fl. oz. of Hi-Yield Killzall Extended Control in 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. for post-emergent and pre-emergent control. Do not apply more that 5.75 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. per application or per year (12-month period).
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Hi-Yield Killzall Extended Control, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the spray tank lid and agitate until the product is mixed.
- Step 3: Spray existing weeds and the entire surrounding weed-prone area you want to keep free of weeds with the mixed Hi-Yield Killzall Extended Control. Prevent application to green stems and leaves of desired foliage during application. If applying at or less than the 3 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. rate then do not retreat for a minimum of 30 days following application.
Where to Use
Hi-Yield Killzall Extended Control can be used on cracks and crevices in driveways, sidewalks, walkways, and patios. Along fences, foundations, curbs, retaining walls, and edges of lawns. Around the base or in mulched beds of well-established (at least 6 months old) plants, shrubs, or trees. It may also be applied on gravel areas.
Do not use this product in lawns or for lawn renovations. This product cannot be used for vegetable garden preparations or in and around fruits and vegetables.
When to Use
Use Hi-Yield Killzall Extended Control when weeds are present or when you wish to prevent weeds on sunny, warm days when the weather is above 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
