Hi-Yield Dusting Wettable Sulfur, manufactured by VPG, is a versatile insecticide and fungicide that can be used as either as a dust or wettable spray to treat various diseases and insects infesting residential fruits, vegetables, and roses.

Highly effective against diseases such as brown canker and pests like mites within 7 days of application. Treats diseases and pests by disrupting their metabolic or systemic ability to function leading to death for pests and reduction of fungi development instantly.

Hi-Yield Dusting Wettable Sulfur provides complete insect and disease control resulting in a more productive rate of crops, better bloomage, and healthier appearance of plants at a more economical price.

Tools Needed

To apply Hi-Yield Dusting Wettable Sulfur, you will need to use either a handheld pump sprayer or backpack sprayer to use it as a spray. For dry applications, you will need to use a handheld spreader or applied directly from the bag.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Hi-Yield Dusting Wettable Sulfur to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). When used as a spray, mix 4 tablespoons of Hi-Yield Dusting Wettable Sulfur per 1 gallon of water. For powdery mildew and scab control, use 1 tablespoon of product per gallon of water. For dust applications, use 4 lbs. of product per 1,500 to 2,000 sq. ft.
• Step 2: To prepare as spray solution, fill your sprayer with half the amount of water and add the measured amount of Hi-Yield Dusting Wettable Sulfur. Then pour in the remaining half of water and shake until well-dissolved. For dust applications, pre-calibrate your spreader then load with the proper amount of product.
• Step 3: Spray or dust the Hi-Yield Dusting Wettable Sulfur until all plant surfaces are covered and any other places where pests may be hiding. Repeat at 7 day intervals and reapply after rainfall. For disease and insect control on shrubs, flowers and ornamentals repeat at 5-10 day intervals and after rains.

When to Use

Use Hi-Yield Dusting Wettable Sulfur when pest and disease activity appears and make treatments on calm, warm days when rainfall is not predicted for the next 24 hours.

Do not use within 2 weeks of an oil spray treatment, on Citrus within 3 to 6 weeks.

Keep children and pets off treated areas for at least 24 hours and until this material has washed into the soil.
