Harris Wasp & Hornet Killer
Harris Wasp & Hornet Killer
Harris Wasp and Hornet Killer, manufactured by PF Harris, is a easy to apply and effective foaming aerosol that targets stinging pests like yellow jackets and their nests whether it is at ground level or above heights of 20 feet.
Once applied, this product quickly expands to coat the entire pest nests in as little as 1 to 2 seconds depending on the size of the treatment area. This agile and swift jet spray aerosol easily treats height and hard to reach areas despite if it is around electricity.
Harris Wasp and Hornet Killer contains three active ingredients to ensure the best and quickest elimination of stinging pests before they have time to react or infest other parts of your home or structure.
Tools Needed
Harris Wasp and Hornet Killer comes ready to use with no other tools necessary for its application.
How to Use
- Step 1: For interior applications, ensure that dishes, utensils, food processing equipment, and food preparation surfaces are covered before application and washed when treatment is complete. You will also need to remove birds, pets, and cover any water inhabited by fish like aquariums or ornamental fish ponds prior to application.
- Step 2: Remove the protective cap covering the Harris Wasp and Hornet Killer. Hold the can upright and point the spray opening towards the area to be treated. Press the spray button for 1 to 2 seconds or until surfaces are moist, but not to the point of runoff. Do not apply more than 9.85 oz. of this product per 25 sq. ft.
- Step 3: For nest treatment, stand a safe distance away from it and not directly underneath it. You will need to make that the can is held upright during application, but the wind needs to be hitting your back. Spray until nest is thoroughly saturated and wait until 24 hours have passed before removing the nest.
Where to Use
Harris Wasp and Hornet Killer can be used indoor and outdoors of residential homes. Apply as a spot or crack and crevice treatment under eaves, screens, window frames, around outside plumbing, outside faucets, cracks and crevices in outside foundation, sills, ledges, doors, patios, cracks, holes, or crevices wherever insects are noticed.
Do not use in commercial food/feed handling establishments, restaurants, or other sites where food/feed is commercially prepared or processed. This product cannot directly spray vegetation.
When to Use
Use Harris Wasp and Hornet Killer whenever pests and their nests are noticed on the inside or outside of your home. This product can also be used as a preventative when sprayed around outside entry points such as window frames, plumbing, faucets, holes or cracks in foundation, and other building surfaces. For best results, spray in early morning or late evening when insect activity is minimal and rainfall is not present for 24 hours after outdoor treatment.
Safety Information
Harris Wasp and Hornet Killer is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling or applying this product.
Do not allow adults, children, or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried.
Turn off fish aquarium filtering systems before spraying and wait approximately 15 minutes after application before turning the filter back on.
