The Hanson Valve Model #5000V, manufactured by Dixon Manufacturing, is an essential component of the Hansen Quick Connect tool and is used to prevent leaks when the coupler is disconnected from the spray hoses and spray guns on professional pesticide spraying rigs.

The valve sits in the middle of the coupler within a seal washer. Replace this essential part when performing routine maintenance for your professional spray rig sprayer components.

Tools Needed

To use the Hanson Valve Model #5000V, you will need a Hanson Head Quick Coupler, a pesticide with a male plug and a spray hose to connect the coupler and washer as well as a wrench for tightening.

How to Use

• Step 1: Take your Hanson Quick Coupler and insert the Valve into the opening until it is secure.
• Step 2: Connect the coupler to your spraying tool or spray gun. The Hanson Head Quick Coupler comes with a spring-loaded push-to-connect feature. Push the head of the coupler back and then push it onto the receiving end of your gun.
• Step 3: With the hose and gun connected and the valve securely in place creating a tight seal, you're ready to spray. Test the sprayer to ensure there is no leakage or issues during application.

Where to Use

The Hanson Valve Model #5000V is meant to be put inside the Hanson Head Quick Coupler for connecting spray tools or spray guns to the spray hose of a pesticide spraying rig. It is seated between the seal/washer.
