Grounded Deposition Aid/Surfactant
Grounded Deposition Aid/Surfactant is a specialized blend of surfactants and deposition agents designed to enhance spray coverage, reduce drift, and improve pesticide and fertilizer performance in agricultural, aquatic, turf, and other various sites.
04/21/26
Grounded Deposition Aid/Surfactant, manufactured by Helena Chemicals, is a proprietary soil deposition aid and surfactant that improves the performance of pesticides and fertilizers even under windy or challenging spray conditions, making it a smart addition to any tank mix.
In a market full of adjuvants, Grounded stands out for one big reason: it doesn’t just help your spray spread it helps it stay. Grounded Despoition Aid/Surfactant reduces the formation of ultra-fine particles (the ones most prone to drift) and keeps droplets from vaporizing before they reach their target. This is especially important when spraying near sensitive crops or water bodies. It also improves adhesion of sprays to plant surfaces and enhances penetration, especially critical for contact and systemic pesticides.
Grounded Deposition Aid/Surfactant multi-functional chemistry is what makes it one of the most versatile and field-proven adjuvants available today. In a world where every input dollar matters, Grounded ensures your pesticide applications hit the target, stay in place, and deliver results. Its unique combination of soil binding, deposition control, and surfactant spreading makes it a must-have in any spray program.
Tools Needed
A spray rig or aerial application equipment will be needed.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Grounded Deposition Aid/Surfactant to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For ground applications with ground applied pesticides, use 1 to 4 pints of Grounded Deposition Aid/Surfactant per acre in 5 to 30 gallons of spray. For aerial applications, use 6 to 16 oz. of product per acre. For any application, you need to use at least 1 gallon of product per 100 gallons of spray mix.
- Step 2: Fill the tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of chosen pesticides, and fill the rest of the tank with the remaining half of the water. Add Grounded Deposition Aid/Surfactant to the mixture last. Close the lid and agitate well.
- Step 3: Spray as instructed in your selected pesticide and fertilizer label instructions.
Where to Use
Grounded Deposition Aid/Surfactant can be used for agricultural, aquatic, forestry, industrial, municipal, non-cropland, ornamental, rights-of-way, turf, and other uses.
When to Use
Use whenever your pesticide or fertilizer recommends the use of a surfactant.
