Golden Malrin Fly Bait has been discontinued by the manufacturer due to EPA restrictions. We recommend Maxforce Fly Baits as a very good alternative. They are safer to use and just as effective.

Golden Malrin Fly Bait attracts and kills flies safe and effectively. It can be used as a scatter bait and in bait stations.

will this product harm any other animals?
A shopper on Feb 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: For bating the product would be placed in batting stations to keep other animals safe from the bait.
Has the active ingredient changed in recent years? We always had significant results in the past. I just purchased a 1# container of Golden Malrin. Almost a week of exposure and not a single dead fly. Our population is as bad if not worse.

BEST ANSWER: No, the active ingredient has not changed in the Golden Malrin. Are you seeing any flies attracted to the bait? If there is heavy pressure and a lot of other sources of food source and attractants, it can be hard to get them to the bait.

Might be time to look at adding some glue sticks and a residual spray to get the population down.
