Essentria Wasp and Hornet Spray

Essentria Wasp and Hornet Spray, manufactured by Zoecon, is an easy to use botanic aerosol spray with a water-based and essential oil formulation to treat the most peristent stinging insects like hornets and pests like spiders.

With its adaptability to expand into a foam it can easily move throughout the interior and exterior surfaces of various structures to treat pest and completely remove their nests if hidden without staining desired areas.

Essentria Wasp and Hornet Spray provides an immediate knockdown of pests and their nests from a safe distance of 20 feet.

Tools Needed

There is no additional tools needed when using Essentria Wasp and Hornet Spray, but you should wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when treating for stinging pests.

How to Use

• Step 1: Examine the inside and outside of your treatment area to determine where pests is most active or to find their nests. Once found, shake the Essentria Wasp and Hornet Spray container well before spraying.
• Step 2: Hold the can upright and stand upwind at a safe distance from nests and spray away from self and other people.
• Step 3: Spray the nests until thoroughly wet. Once wet, the nests will fall to the ground. Wait 24 hours before removing nests. To treat hornets and yellow jacket nests, spray only the entrance hole. Spraying the outside of the nests and not the entrance holes will not have the desired effect and may cause pests to attack. Repeat this process for large hornet and yellow jacket nests.

Where to Use

Use Essentria Wasp and Hornet Spray on wasp and hornet nests or spider webs around residential, commercial and institutional areas such as decks, patios, garages, yards, housing complexes, government buildings, warehouses, nursing and assisted living facilities, office buildings, schools, daycare facilities, hospitals, and libraries. This product may be used indoors within attics, steeples, mechanical rooms, barns, sheds, non-food/non-feed warehouses, garages, and carports.

Hornets build nests under leaves, in trees, shrubs, and ivy, and in sheltered areas of buildings. Yellow jackets typically build nests in the ground or in tree stumps, landscape timbers, and railroad ties. Avoid applying this product to plant surfaces.

When to Use

Essentria Wasp and Hornet Spray may be used when pests nests or webs are seen. It is best to wait until dusk or early morning to spray as pests are least active during these times.
